Horizon West | Master Plan Development - 6 interconnected Villages

Horizon West Florida is a master planned area of South-West Orange County. It consists of 6 village with residential, shopping areas and green spaces. All 6 villages are interconnected with roads and biking & walking trails. The heart of the villages, is Hamlin Town Center.

Horizon West is one of the fastest growing master-planned communities in the United States, and while most of its five villages are being built out, Village I in well underway.

Hamlin Town Center - The heart of Horizon West, Hamlin Town Center is an exciting mix of residential, shopping, dining, recreation and fun. One of the focal points is Lake Hancock where residents enjoy water sports and views of Disney fireworks.

Village of Bridgewater - The village of Bridgewater is in a great location. It borders Hamlin Town Center to the west and 535 to the east, providing easy access to town center and also Winter Garden Village to the north. Four of it's neighborhoods surround the beautiful Lake Hancock which is also one of the focal points of town center. It is also home to Summerport Village Center, providing the residents with many options for shopping and dining.

Lakeside Village - Lakeside Village is the first of the Horizon West Villages. Located just minutes from Disney’s employee entrance, Disney Springs, Universal, and Seaworld, Lakeside Village offers the perfect location to theme parks for work or leisure.

Village F - Village F borders the north west corner of Walt Disney World. The Magic Kingdom is so close that many homes in the area can see the nightly firework show. As with the other Horizon West Village, Villlage F is dotted with lakes including Huckleberry Lake, which gives residents a beautiful backdrop to their homes.

Village H - Hickory Nut - Hickory Nut is located just south of Hamlin Town Center. It borders Lake County to the west and State Road 429 to the east. The Western Way entrance to Walt Disney World, was extended into this area, providing easy access into Disney property but with none of the tourist traffic. One of the highlights to this area is Hickory Nut Lake, from where the village gets it's name.

Village I - Village I borders Walt Disney World property to the east and Lake County border to the west. The Western Way entrance to Disney run right through this village, providing easy access to all the fun while still offering a way into Disney that doesn't include tourist traffic. Disney is also building an exciting area in Village I called Flamingo crossing. It will consist of shopping, dining and entertainment options. There is also a lot of conservation area in Village I, which makes it a beautiful and scenic place to live. Village I sits parallel to Disney’s 450-acre Flamingo Crossings master-planned community, which is set for about 1,300 multifamily units for its college intern program, 5,000 hotel and timeshare units and more than 350,000 square feet of retail space.

Construction on the 220-acre regional park that’s roughly a third of the size of New York City’s Central Park, or its new medical campus that will feature a proton therapy center are set to begin this fall.
